![]() I guess I should've installed Linux in the first place. IDK if it's because of the screen display (64hz) or the stupid 1.0 Shintel processor or the unknown Samsung 240GB SSD. And what's even sadder is that this 10th Gen i5 is a shitty Laptop (well it's not mine at least, it's my aunt's laptop), it has huge lag while trying to do normal stuff. I had to go through what's called the EFI file and boot Windows from there and that's how I was able to install it. The stupid SSD was in GPT format (partition scheme) and not MBR so I couldn't install Windows normally. I had problems installing Windows pirated and legacy version. Otherwise the Laptop won't recognize/read the USB that's plugged in. Now here's the problem, you need to enter the BIOS in the Boot Options and enable Legacy Support. I found out that you have to press ESC to enter the Boot Menu. Try the same procedure as I said in my previous post with these two keys, and hopefully you will get into the boot menu. Seems you can't get to the boot menu through here, I think there is a different hotkey for the boot menu before. Im trying to install FreeDOS on a notebook without Floppy and broken. ![]()
